The master head concept for attachments enables the decoupling of the milling drive and tool interface and provides additional protection for the milling drive against collisions

On the the rotary table of the Dörries VT 28, up to 17 tons of heavy components with a maximum diameter of 2.8 meters and a height of 2.65 meters can be machined highly efficiently.

The compact single-column vertical turning lathe is not only suitable for turning, but also for drilling, milling and grinding with additional head attachments.

In the Dörries VT 28, wear-free hydrostatic guides in all linear axes ensure optimum vibration damping and high precision. The new hydrostatic system reacts extremely robustly to temperature fluctuations and changes in viscosity and thus enables maximum precision.

The Dörries VT 28 offers an option for compact floor installation, whereby the foundation base is onlyabove the ground, which results in lower foundation costs. The base of the column is part of the foundation, which leads to increased rigidity
